About Me

My photo
College Student. Sometimes dancer. Aspiring fashion journalist and everyday style enthusiast. I started my blog back in 2010 on a whim, and now it has grown into the visual representation of the power that I believe fashion can have. It's not about having clothes it's about what you do with them, what you wear says who you are. Fashion is transformative, and a chic bag or outfit puts a smile on my face as much as a good book on a rainy day. My blog is about dressing the undergrad and young professional, because so little markets cater to our style. You've officially been accepted into The Undergrad Style File. These Are a Few of My Favorite Things: Decor

It's been awhile since my last "Favorite Things" post.  In light of my pending return to campus and a new series of blog posts; where I will show you my RA dorm room's transformation from eek to chic, I'd thought I show you some of my favorite decoration inspiration. Pictured here is my décor display on this fabulous metal, vintage postcard printed side table that I found for a steal at eight bucks at Burlington Coat Factory. On it I have my recent birthday cards from turning the big 20. Décor should always reflect your personal style and little mementos make it cozy...especially if you live in tiny dorm rooms like most of us undergrads. The biggest piece is my fashion vision board that I made from a recycled cork board, construction paper and magazine clippings. It features all the colors, cuts, and categories that influence my personal style, and it will be prominently displayed in my dorm. Finally, there is the vase of fresh flowers and my vintage-inspired bodice jewelry holder. Just a small sample of the vintage-modern-retro Hollywood-fashion boutique/romantic vibe I'm going for in my new dorm room. Girly touches, simple chic, and fashion-influenced touches are what I love to have when decorating...stay tuned for my dorm room re-do!

Stay stylish,
Tiff
