About Me

My photo
College Student. Sometimes dancer. Aspiring fashion journalist and everyday style enthusiast. I started my blog back in 2010 on a whim, and now it has grown into the visual representation of the power that I believe fashion can have. It's not about having clothes it's about what you do with them, what you wear says who you are. Fashion is transformative, and a chic bag or outfit puts a smile on my face as much as a good book on a rainy day. My blog is about dressing the undergrad and young professional, because so little markets cater to our style. You've officially been accepted into The Undergrad Style File. Gobble, Gobble

So it's that time again...the one day where anything but a Turkey and filling your belly would be uncivilized. THANKSGIVING! Breaking out my Christmas spirit, I went for a cherry red skater dress, some black sweater tights for warmth, and my goes with everything black boots. I put my twists into a ballet bun, to keep  up a posh feel and then stuffed my face :) .The festive season is upon us, and remember to take every opportunity just to feel a little special. Today was the day to remember how fortunate we really are, stylishly of course. Happy Turkey Day! Eat a slice of pie for me.

The Weather Outside May Be Frightful...

But that is no reason your fashion can't be delightful. In the midst of the dramatic drop in temperatures on the East Coast, I took the opportunity to pull out some flannel. In order to bring some glam to the rustic appeal of flannel, I threw on a baby pink crystal necklace, some black sweater tights for warmth, and my fav cognac colored riding boots. But you can make the look your own by adding a vest or a cardigan for another layer of interest (and warmth ;) ). Happy Fashion!
